cibachrome of a woman with an oversize sculpted head sticking its tongue out
Jeer
Cibachrome, mounted on aluminum and framed
image: 30" x 40"
2002

In this image, I am wearing a large plaster head which is painted in oil paint. I made the head just large enough to fit over my own. It disassembles into two parts so that I can put it on. The seam is visible on the neck. There are tiny holes drilled in the pupils of the eyes so that I will not trip over the camera tripod while setting up the shot, but the head is rather uncomfortable and not really suitable for wearing outside the studio.
